Thankful Thursday
I am very late posting this. It has been a busy day - a busy week really - but I wanted to do this. All week long I've had this song running through my mind. It somehow captures the way I feel during this very special season.
MY TRIBUTE by Andrae Crouch
How can I say thanks for the things You have done for me"
Things so undeserved, yet You give to prove Your love for me.
The voices of a million angels could not express my gratitude;
All that I am and ever hope to be - I owe it all to Thee.
To God be the glory
To God be the glory
To God be the glory for the things He has done.
With His blood He has saved me,
With His pow'r He has raised me,
To God be the glory for the things He has done.
Just let me live my life - let it be pleasing Lord to Thee; And should I gain any praise, let it go to Calvary.
With His blood He has saved me,
With His pow'r He has raised me,
To God be the glory for the things He has done.
Thank you Lord Jesus for the priceless gift you have given me.

Blessings,

One of my very favorite songs - to sing and to play on the organ.
I read in someone's comments that you're doing an Easter cantata. We are, too, and it's such a blessing.
I love that song. Haven't thought about A.C. in a long time. One of the guys I dated loved him. Boy does that bring back memories.
Beautiful song, enjoyed your post.
Linda-That song is amazing! I have never heard it so I'm going to have to go head over to itunes right now!

That truly is a beautiful song. I remember when it came out and it was such a huge hit in the gospel world.
I just finished posting about my busy week so far.
Love this song, and I always think of Dallas Holm's "Rise Again" at Easter time.
Have a blessed Easter, Linda. :-)
Love and hugs,
Diane

Oh, I love this song...brings back memories of my teen years at church and I loved it then, too!
It says so much!
Linda, I just love that song and what a blessing it has been over the years. What a wonderful world we would have if everyone would try to live a life pleasing to HIM! HAPPY EASTER!
Lovely words, Linda.
Such beautiful words to that song, thank you for sharing it Linda!! xoxo
I've been away for awhile so I just got caught up reading your blog, Yes that is a great song and thank God for the blood that saves and the power that raises us. We are so blessed to live in a country where we are free to worship and praise God. Your post always inspires me,and lets me see Jesus. BE BLESSED :-)
so beautiful; thanks for sharing!
How about "The Love of God"? "Could we with ink the oceans fill, and were the skies of parchment made; were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade--to write the love of God above would drain the oceans dry, nor could the scroll contain the whole though stretched from sky to sky." That is one of my favorite stanzas ever! You are a blessing--blog on!
I've never heard this song, but the words are just beautiful.
