The Least

I love tiny things: minature tea sets, doll houses, little china animals, and minature flowers just to name a few. There is something about them that just touches my heart.

I walked past these tiny flowers this morning, and they made me smile.

I gathered a few of them up and brought them home with me. I tied a little yellow ribbon around them and placed them in a tiny tea cup.

They are gracing the top of my dresser, right beside another tiny tea cup that once belonged to my Grandmother. She didn't have great wealth, in fact they struggled financially most of her life. I like to think of this little cup bringing a smile to her dear face.

How tiny they look compared to my Shamrocks. And yet....

"I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is

greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least

person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he

is !" Matt. 11:11

Blessings,

Very sweet pictures and thoughts. A precious verse to go with them.

Pretty little tea cups and flowers. I love the way different things bring us joy. I am still into red leaves right now. I find them and bring them in just to look at.

I bet you can't wait to fill your tea cups with pansies. I am so looking forward to planting pansies, petunias, snapdragons, etc.

I love your tiny teacups and wildflowers...

I was just reading your post below, too, and the verse you used is so beautiful. Is it from a song, because I'm not familiar with it...but I want to remember it.

Thank you for wishing my husband a happy birthday, Linda...

Hugs,
~Tammy

The least of these... how neat is that! I couldn't tell how small it was until you put it beside the shamrock plant. You have a talent for flower arranging and seeing God's beauty in all that surrounds you... that is a blessing indeed! Have a great weekend!

I've said it before many times and I will keep saying it - you MUST put your devotionals, because that's what they are to me, together and get them published. I'm catching up and the last two were wonderful, as usual!

Has it cooled off down there yet?
