Pray
I woke this morning with a feeling of heaviness. I am so burdened for our country and this election - concerned that so many things we hold dear may be in jeopardy. If I look at the "evidence," there is great cause for concern. In the midst of such thoughts came the gentle nudging of the Spirit - "Pray."
I love the way the Father orchestrates things in my life. I just "happened" to go to a blog I love and there was confirmation and encouragement. I am joining my heart with Donnetta's and countless others. For we know that with God nothing is impossible.
Blessings,

I've been feeling exactly the same way, Linda. I'm as sick of this election as I can ever remember being, but the outcome has me worried to death. I don't think either possibility is good, but the one is a lot scarier than the other, so I'm simply praying that people see the truth and vote the right way.
Indeed, with God nothing is impossible!
Regardless of the outcome Tuesday... God is still God! God was, is and always will be!
No matter what happens, God will remain the King of Kings on the throne!
Resting in His faithfulness and steadfastness!
Truly an honor to join with you and the countless others in prayer...
I am not American, but I too am praying for you all, and the choices before you.
We do indeed need to pray. It is in His hands.
Pray, pray, pray...He can still move mountains. It would be great for people who are able to fast through 7pm Pacific time Tues night. Whether it's a total fast, a Daniel fast, limiting yourself to 1 or 2 meals a day. Whatever you feel called to do.
I am trying so hard to not be afraid, but it is hard. I fear the college students who have been taken in by the smooth talker, and have been wooed by Hollywood "stars", and have the opportunity to go to the student center to cast their midinformed vote.
I have too been feeling the same way...if you haven't already, come over and read my post- it's the first time I truly got "political" but honestly felt led to do so.
I also plan to spend the next couple days praying earnestly for our nation and this election! So easy to be afraid...but God is in control!
