Interrupting My Break For....Socks!
I am interrupting my little Blog Break to show you my finished project. We have - SOCKS!
I must confess - they are a tad big. Well....actually they are very big! I guess I over-estimated the size of my foot. Next time I'll make the smaller size.
They were fun to knit. I love the way the yarn makes the stripes, and I've gotten so I really do like the colors (my husband picked out the yarn). If my family doesn't laugh too hard, I may make some for everyone.
Praying all is well with everyone. We are so very thankful that Ike took a turn and completely missed us - not even a drop of rain. However, we are deeply saddened by the devastation to others not so fortunate. It was a horrific storm. It will be a very long recovery time.
I will see you soon.
Blessings,

Gorgeous socks! I love it that they aren't identical. I would wear those around the house all winter if I had them! Good going.
You did a GREAT job!! Seriously you should be proud.
I'm glad you did okay with the storm! And the socks look graet!!
So glad you're safe from the storm. Your sox look colorful and cozy :)
Great project!
xo
Well look at those socks you made...I LOVE them! You really did a great job on them:-) Such a relief to hear that Ike missed you completely but like you, my heart really goes out to those who have been affected by it. xoxo
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Are you taking orders?
(and can I just slip back here to say that Darryl's mother knit socks and they are HEIRLOOMS around here... we al treasure our socks from Grandma... Think of the legacy you have on those needles--and toes--of yours)
I send so much love, Linda (and your dear daughter home? praying too!)
All's grace,
Ann
