41 YEARS
I am apologizing in advance for not being able to visit and comment for the next couple of days. My daughter is coming to visit today - fun!! Tomorrow we have a funeral to attend in the morning - and IT IS OUR 41st WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!! So a bitter-sweet day. One of our daughter's close friends from high school suddenly passed away. Very tragic, and I'll tell that story another time. She was just twenty-nine years old.

So we will go to the service in the morning and then celebrate our anniversary by going out to dinner monday evening. I'll be back on tuesday. It's my turn to do Laced With Grace.

Have a blessed weekend everyone,

Congratulations on your anniversary, Linda! What a wonderful milestone!

How sad that your daughter's friend passed away so young. In a way, tomorrow will be a symbol of life...celebration and sadness mixed together for you. Bittersweet, as you say.

But I am sure you will have a wonderful time celebrating such a happy marriage!

Hello dearest Linda,

How wonderful that your daughter was coming over today:-) Happy 41st Anniversary to you and your hubby, that is indeed quite a milestone in this day and age! How very sad, though, about your daughter's friend...such a young age to lose one's life. xox

Happy Anniversary! Have a wonderful time having your daughter around on this special day. So often, sadness and gladness happen in conjunction with each other, it seems.

It's sad when such a young person dies. Was she a follower of Christ?
Congratulations on 41 years. We are getting ready for our 34th.

That robbery makes me mad, that someone could be so hard.

So sorry to hear of your daughter's friend passing. I hope that your visit with your daughter is wonderful despite the sadness she will be feeling.

Congrats on your 41st anniversary. Praise God for marriages that honor Him!

I read this earlier in the week but wasn't able to comment.

Please know you have been in my thoughts and prayers this week!

A belated wish for a very happy anniversary. Wow...41 years...and still going strong! You are blessed to have each other!
How sad for that young woman's family...a terrible tragedy.
That robbery was an awful thing for you to witness...very unnerving I'm sure. It's hard to contemplate someone being so cruel and selfish towards another person.
