Home and a Post on Freedom

We are home from our visit to the kids and grands. It was just great, and I'll write about it in day or two. Tomorrow I will be here with a post on freedom. In the meantime, I am trying to get a little order back into our lives. How can four days away from home result in such confusion? I did manage to get the laundry done and the budget for the month written down in my trusty little notebook, but there's a pile of laundry waiting to be ironed and a pile of bills to be paid and mail to track down (my daughter's which didn't get forwarded to us as it was supposed to) and enough dust to choke a whole group of people.....So I'll be back in a couple of days.

Blessings,

Welcome back! I'm also trying to settle in after being gone for a week. Why does that seem to take so much time? *sigh*

Hoping you find yourself caught up sooner than you think!

So far I haven't been able to sleep in. I don't know if I ever will, but we'll see. DC is still working, and must get up around 6, so I still get up and fix his lunch. But it's so nice to not have to get up at 5 to an alarm!

Talk to you later!

My husband can come home, unpack, and have everything put away perfectly in 15 minutes flat.

Me? We're talking DAYS!

Happy ironing,

Joanne

Glad you had a great visit. I try so hard not to iron in the summer. My excuse is it's too hot.

I know, it takes so long to get things back into some sort of order after being gone, doesn't it? Even if I get it all done before I go and really think ahead (which doesn't always happen) it's still a chore getting back. But, the fun visits make it all worthwhile. I'm glad you had a "grand" time!

My husband is the same as Joanne above - he will have his suitcase back down in the basement before I even have mine opened!
