Finding the Perfect Christmas Tree
I love pictures! My sweet daughter-in-law sent us a bunch of pictures of their day at the Christmas Tree Farm. It was such fun to share in their adventure through all the beautiful pictures.
Here are the Grands with the Perfect Christmas Tree.
Not to be outdone, Papa decided to send them a picture of the cutting down of his "Perfect Christmas Tree". He borrowed my cap, mittens and scarf and bravely went into the "wilderness" in search of his tree.
Needless to say - this tree is not the one in our living room! Have I ever mentioned how much my husband loves to spend time with his grandchildren? He plays just as hard as they do. He's an ideal Papa.
Blessings,

They have a xmas tree farm? wow I guess that makes it much easier to find the perfect tree then :-)
The shorts and t-shirt with winter gear...Oh my goodness... that is to funny!
You might not like cutting a tree as much in below freezing weather..lol.. What a great picture of the kids and tree adventure, and papa is cute too. So, the town was Cold Springs on the North shore of Long Island. It was a cute little town. It wasn't as cold that day as some had been, but it was humid and wet. My hair was frizzy to beat the band. I looked like a crazy woman ():
Linda...what fun!! I, too, am in South Texas, and we were in shorts today as well! Cold front coming tonight, though!
I was smiling when I read that you call your grandchildren "the grands." My parents call my daughters the very same thing:)
I can tell I will enjoy reading your thoughts and getting to know you!

I love the shorts with the muffler, hat and gloves...I set the A/C down to 70 yesterday during a party, thought about lowering it and lighting a fire in the fireplace but decided that wasn't environmentally friendly. Hope your Sabbath is a blessed Sabbath.
Very funny! I love the shorts with scarf.
I call mine "the grands" as well! Love the picture of your hubby and the Charlie Brown tree!
I am so far behind and just read about your son's struggle - I am so sorry!
We never had a real tree do to allergies.
The little tree looks just like the one Charlie Brown found at the tree farm. Not many branches.
